As some of you may know, I’m a pretty big believer in vitamins and other health supplements. I posted a review of Greens+ when I first created this site: http://tunedperception.com/2009/09/review-greens/ I’ve been a firm supporter of Greens+, but I didn’t want to limit myself to this specific product. There may be an even better greens product out there, and what better way to find it than trial & error. Of course I did my research, reading tons of reviews, scrutinizing ingredient lists, and looking for reputable sites which talked about specific products. I was finally able to find a product called Vitamineral Green by Healthforce Nutritionals.

Now I’m still waiting on my order from Amazon.com, but I’m pretty excited that this will exceed and surpass my expectations. It contains ingredients from both the land and ocean, enzymes, probiotics, and energy supporting herbs. I’ll give a full review after two weeks of use, probably at the beginning of next year.
I also ordered a new brand of multivitamin and have been using them for the past week, and so far so good. I previously used Optimum Nutrition Opti-Men. Their product had a great ingredient profile, but I think it just overdosed on a lot of items. I would split the 3-pill dose into one with each major meal, and I would still get the neon green pee from wasted vitamins being filtered out of the blood.
My new product is from NOW Foods called Adam Men’s Multivitamin. Aside from the normal vitamins and minerals, NOW Foods includes Saw Palmetto, Panax Ginseng, Alpha Lipoic Acid, CoQ10, and Ginko Biloba. Good stuff for any guy over 25 to start consuming.
I feel as though this product gives you the right doses and not just a huge amount of everything imaginable. The dosage is just two per day, and I split that up with one in the morning with breakfast and the other at night with dinner.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed that I no longer have that vibrant feeling I had as a child. I could wake up on the weekends as a child and be ready to just tear up the world all day, non stop.
