Team Sunworks is a well respected car show team with many chapters across the United States. I’ve been a fan of their cars for the past few years, and their members are spot on with their individualistic styling. This 2006 Honda Civic owned by Steven Pham caught my eye with it’s simple, clean, and bold statement. It’s just a car that made me say “Damn…” as I gazed upon the clean lines and well executed modifications. The car doesn’t have a ton of modifications, and the old adage of “Less is more” comes to mind.

This thing is slammed to the ground via a set of Tein Mono Flex coilovers. Rolling on some ultra rare Desmond Promadas 17×9 +17 up front and 17×9 +12 in the rear, Steven stretched a set of Yokohama S drives in 205/40-17 and 205/45-17. Crystal lug nuts were installed to add a nice detail to the wheels. Who says Hondas can’t join in on the flush fitment scene? Camber bolts up front and a Skunk2 rear camber kit ensure the wheel alignment is dialed in for a stunning stance.

A custom “HD” front lip was added to the bottom of the HFP to bring the front end of this Civic very low to the ground. A carbon fiber roof spoiler, OEM mud flaps, an OEM sunroof visor, and Weathertech window visors add to the sleek look. Steven retrofitted a set of BMW 4300k lights and added a set of 3000k HID fog lights to the front of the vehicle. PasswordJDM sidemarkers and a set of OEM yellow fog lights were added to round out the lighting modifications.

Future plans for this Civic include a custom rear diffuser, custom front splitter, custom cross bar along with a full Cusco suspension setup. Be on the lookout for this car in 2010 with Team Sunworks. You can check out their website at http://www.teamsunworks.com
