The Federal Trade Commission has recently ruled that “bloggers who make an endorsement must disclose the material connections they share with the seller of the product or service.”

My blog has reviews and endorsements of products and/or services, which I personally selected because of my belief in their value.  My goal is to become a credible source for you to trust, when you read my content.

I potentially may make a very small percentage from products I link to, and they’re used to help pay for the website.  I trust that my readers understand that I’m not some shill, implanted to post fake reviews touting products or services.  I give my true opinion on how I perceive things.  You guys will get nothing less than 100% honesty from me, whether I promote or condemn a product or service.  I’m a huge nerd when it comes to product reviews, and I spend hours upon hours scrutinizing a review myself to see if its legitimate or not.  I expect most of you are the same way.

Disclosing the facts about my relationship with my site sponsors and affiliates will in no way affect my content, and you’ll still get the unabashed truth from my point of view.
